Lawn Mowing
Please consider the timing of our lawn mowing activities. Recently, there have been instances of lawns being mowed either very early in the morning or quite late at night. To ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy a peaceful environment, we suggest mowing lawns during more considerate hours, perhaps between 9 AM - 7 PM. |

Building Permits
Any construction work requiring a City of Novi Building Permit requires a letter of approval from the HOA. This request should be submit with your plans 7 days prior to applying for the permit .
Parents and Caregivers
The Cul-de-sac Islands and Boulevard within the Yorkshire Place subdivision are not playgrounds. Our insurance company has requested that this notice be sent out as a reminder to parents and caregivers. Proceed at your own risk when being on these sections of the subdivision. Climbing on the trees and running out into unsuspecting traffic can be dangerous.

Light Up The Night Program
YPHOA would like to furnish (2) LED Dusk to Dawn warm white lightbulbs for each home to use on their garage.

Some of the nearby subdivisions are seeing an increase in vehicle vandalism at night. Tips from the Police department include leaving exterior lights on, locking your vehicle, not leaving valuables in view and removing the keys. We are not aware of any events in our subdivision.
Surveying Yorkshire Place subdivision, over have 50% of the homes do not have any exterior lighting and another 25% have very minimal. We would like encourage everyone to partake in our Light up the Night proposal. To help increase the amount of nighttime lighting in the subdivision, the YPHOA would like to furnish (2) LED Dusk to Dawn warm white lightbulbs for each home to use on their garage. They come on automatically and cost $1/month to operate. The bulbs will need to be ordered based on the demand. A sample installation is at 45626 Emerald Forest if you would like to see them in action! |
